What a small business website
costs in Raleigh
It depends on who builds it and when you pay. Here are the three ways people pay, what moves the price, and where mine sits.
The three ways people pay
the shape of the bill matters- A site builder. A monthly subscription for platform and hosting. You do the building, writing, and updates
- A one-time build. Paid up front. Hosting and changes are usually extra, so ask what happens after launch
- A monthly plan. Build, hosting, and upkeep in one monthly price, usually with a minimum term. This is how I work
None is right for everyone. I wrote out when a builder is better.
What changes the price
whoever builds it- Pages, and how much writing they need
- Selling online, bookings, or member logins
- Extras: a second language, booking or CRM links
- Who writes the words and takes the photos
- How much upkeep you want
What it costs with me
starting at $99 a month · free demo first- Nothing is billed before you approve your demo
- A standard build starts at $99 a month. Bigger needs, such as a store, are quoted before you approve
- Hosting, SSL, uptime monitoring, updates, unlimited email edits, and support
- No setup or launch fee, no deposit
- A one year minimum: twelve months, $1,188 at the starting rate, billed monthly or in one payment, same price. Then month to month
- You own your name, logo, content, and domain. Or buy the site outright for $4,900
Leaving early is covered in the terms.
Costs to ask about
the easy-to-miss lines- Your domain. It renews yearly. Ask whose name it is registered in. With me, yours
- Card fees. Online, the processor takes a fee per card sale whoever builds it. I add nothing
- Changes after launch. Ask what counts as an included edit. Mine are in the terms
- Leaving. Ask what you keep if you stop paying. With me, the site comes down when the plan ends unless you buy it
What Raleigh owners ask about cost
How much does a website cost in Raleigh?
It depends on who builds it and how you pay. With me it starts at $99 a month, with build, hosting, updates, and upkeep inside, a one year minimum, and nothing billed until you approve your demo.
Why a monthly plan instead of paying once?
Because the work does not stop at launch: hours, prices, and photos change, and things break. A monthly plan keeps one person responsible, with no big bill up front. Or buy the site outright for $4,900.
Do I pay before I see the website?
No. I build your real site first, and you pay nothing until you approve it. If you do not want it, you owe nothing.
What if I need more than a standard build?
I say so and quote it before you approve anything. Stores, new features, and bigger projects are agreed in writing first.
